I received this item as described. It was in mint condition with cellophane still wrapped around it. The price for this book and the free shipping was unbelievable. It would have cost me more some where else. The shipping was ridiculously quick. I want to thank Amazon for their wonderful service and making this transaction pleasant.

When searching for this product, I used the ISBN which matched the required text exactly, except for one critical detail…the description was not accurate. The anticipated “2-Volume Set” I ordered was not what was delivered, instead what I received was only the volume #2 of a 2-Vol Set. Obviously, that leaves me searching for volume #1 which I have still not found leaving me with the option to return the book at my cost and repurchase a complete set at a higher price. So, buyer beware…DO NOT assume the description of the product is what you are actually getting!

This book came delivered to me as one volume. It is being sold in my university’s book store as two separate volumes because it is so large. I was a little disappointed when I received it as one book because I feel it is going to break easier. Just be aware that this book is over 2000 pages long and the spine is not strong enough to hold them all in place. Otherwise, the book is great.

This 2-volume book is highly recommendable as it is well written, easily understood, comprehensive and current. To me, its the best med-surg textbook to use.
