Very clinical, yet not as difficult to read as it may have been. I particularly like the case studies because they provide a practical application of the material, so most concepts are not left abstract. Overall, it provides the best case scenario for this type of text.

Krause’s new edition is a great way to learn and reference food & nutrition therapy. This is a comprehensive, easy to read, but thorough piece of literature essential for all nutrition experts in the medical field. Without this book, finishing my collegiate studies and becoming a well-rounded professional would be impossible. With this book, the medical world becomes understandable and clearly essential for nutritionists and dietitians to be a part of. Anyone considering this book as an addition to their library, or a textbook would not be disappointed with purchasing it.
